Your training – an overview
- practical training at a hotel: you learn everything worth knowing about food and its processing, menu preparation, food purchase and storage, commercial kitchen costing and food hygiene
- your apprenticeship is a three-year period which includes training at vocational school
- vocational training at the Vocational Academy for the Catering and Hotel Industry
- training courses and seminars at Austria Trend Academy for Apprentices
After successfully completing your training, our hotels are open to you as chef, sous chef or chef de cuisine.
You can specialize in food groups – soups and vegetables (potager), sauces (saucier), roasting (rotisseur), cold food (garde manger), eggs and flour dishes (entremetier), fish (poissonier) and sugar confectioner (patissier).
